Esperanza Academy Middle School students, Berlin and Manuel, were featured on Telemundo 62 last night on the 6 p.m. news regarding their passion for film and acting.
For the past 6 years, the Dominican Republic natives and all time best friends, have been making YouTube videos to showcase their passion for storytelling. “Ever since I was a little boy, I have loved to act and be in front of the camera,” Berlin said.
Berlin and Manuel have had the unconditional support of their friends, family, and specially their teacher Ms. DeHart who has helped them to get the word out about their passion. “At the school they love the videos we make, they always talk about how much they like them,” Berlin said.
Thanks to FundLatinos, Berlin and Manuel started a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to go to Film Camp this summer 2017.
