Promoting Economic Health in Latino Neighborhoods Through Master Class Series

#EsperanzaNews, Esperanza in the News, Featured

In a significant move towards economic revitalization and cultural preservation, the recent Master Class Series on Economic Preservation Districts highlighted innovative strategies to strengthen the economic health of Latino neighborhoods, particularly in Eastern North Philadelphia. Hosted by prominent organizations including Esperanza, Drexel University’s Nowak Metro Finance Lab, and the Reinvestment Fund, the series drew over 100 cross-sector leaders dedicated to understanding and replicating these strategies nationwide.

The collaborative event provided a platform for experts to discuss comprehensive approaches designed to support local businesses and maintain the cultural integrity of Latino communities. Attendees gained insights from the presentation and the ‘Community Preservation in Latino Eastern North Philadelphia’ report, which served as a resource throughout the discussion.
