Esperanza Housing and Economic Development division (EHED) hosted the “Hunting Park Flea Market and Family Fun Day” last Saturday, June 24 at Esperanza’s parking lot. Families, local vendors, community members, and Esperanza staff enjoyed a warm summer day with games, moon bounce, face painting, and more.
“We wanted to bring neighbors together and welcome the summer as well as give local vendors the opportunity to sell things. We also wanted to bring some fun to our children and families,” EHED Education and Community Development Coordinator Gabriella Paez said.
Esperanza Housing and Economic Development (EHED) is leading a neighbor-driven revitalization process with the potential to become a model of change for communities across the city of Philadelphia.
