#EsperanzaNews, Esperanza in the News, Featured, Uncategorized

On Tuesday, September 27th, Esperanza College and Univision invite you to the National Voter Registration Day event happening at Esperanza College!

Esperanza College and Univision are teaming up to make sure that the North Philadelphia Latino community registers to vote for the 2016 Presidential Election. All summer-long, students and community members were allowed to stop in on the second floor of 4261 N 5th Street to register to vote. The computers, the wifi, and even bilingual assistance was all provided by Esperanza College staff.

At Tuesday’s event, there will be several computers set up in the Main Student Lounge and helpers will be on staff, ready to assist anyone in English or Spanish; a voting machine will be available for community members to familiarize themselves with the steps involved in casting their ballots on November 8th; and Councilwoman Maria Quiñones-Sanchez will be in attendance to address the crowd. Furthermore, light refreshments will be served!

Stop in, get a bite to eat, and REGISTER TO VOTE!
