On Friday, January 23rd at 5:00 PM, Esperanza is holding an info session so that community members can learn how they can receive funds for their project to revitalize and beautify the Hunting Park neighborhood.
These funds (up to $1000*) are given as part of the NeighborCare Team Program to teams composed of a leader (does not have to be a block captain) and a group of neighbors that commit to complete the proposed project.
To receive funds you should attend our informational meeting, apply, be approved, and live and/or complete the project in the following area: Limited by Front Street to the East, 9th street to the West, Roosevelt Blvd and Mentor St. to the North and Luzerne St. to the South.
Esperanza is in the business of advancing Hispanic communities. Revitalization is an important part of achieving this goal. When people are proud of who they are, where they are from, and the work they have done to make their space a better place, it opens up a world of possibilities. Revitalization not only improves the attitudes of those living in the community but it also improves the perception of those outside of the community. It can bring in new clientele, residents, and even investors.
Never underestimate the positive impact your project could have for our community.
