Homeownership education provides general information about the home buying process using adult education techniques and interactive activities in a classroom setting. Topics covered:  advantages and disadvantages of homeownership, how to manage money and credit, how to shop for a home, how to obtain financing, parties/ documentation involved in the transaction, Fair housing, predatory lending and how to maintain a home after purchase.

Rental Workshop

Rental workshop provides education on tenant and Landlord responsibilities, Fair Housing laws and other issues related to before and after renting.

No, all our services are free.

When do workshops open for registration?

Workshops are always open for registration.

How do I get a one-on-one appointment with a counselor?

At the end of the workshop, our Intake coordinator will help attendees schedule a one-on-one appointment with a counselor.

Do I need to bring any documentation?

No, the workshop does not require any documentation.

 Who can attend the workshop?

Due to the number of seats available, only participants can attend the workshop.

Are the workshops online?
