Join us in transforming Philadelphia’s Board of Education

FreeThis Monday, February 5th, at 6:00 PM, Esperanza will be hosting an Information Session on the Transformation of Philadelphia’s Board of Education.
Otis Hackney, the City of Philadelphia’s Chief Education Officer, will attend the Session to discuss the process of re-establishing local control of the Philadelphia School District, part of which involves the establishment of a new School Board. The deadline to submit applications to join the Board has been extend until February 7th.
This is an important opportunity for Latinos to come together and consider the ways in which we can concretely affect education policy and outcomes in our neighborhoods and in our city.
