The 2016 presidential elections allowed U.S. Latinos to reach several important conclusions. The Rev. Luis Cortes wrote an editorial piece for local newspaper AL DIA, encouraging Latinos to look forward and “choose the path of mutual respect.” With this election behind us, the Reverend states, “the season ahead of us requires solidarity, openness to dialogue, and willingness to develop real solutions.”
