M. Thomas Ridington, Ph.D., is the Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Growth at Esperanza, where he provides institutional oversight for the College, Development and Marketing/Communications departments. Previously, Dr. Ridington was Executive Vice President for University Relations/Special Assistant to the President of Eastern University, where he also served as Senior Vice President and Vice President for Development. Prior to Eastern University, he was the Director of Student Recruitment for Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Dr. Ridington completed his Ph.D. at Stellenbosch University, South Africa where he studied leadership development approaches with leaders of non-governmental organizations. He earned his MA from Palmer Theological Seminary and his BA from Eastern University.

Dr. Ridington is married to Meridith, a community developer, and they have four adult children and three grandchildren.
