Esperanza Charter Schools and College Celebrate Graduations
Congratulations Class of 2019! Esperanza College of Eastern University (ECEU) joyously celebrated the graduation of 30 students this past month. The ceremony honored students earning their associate degrees in fields such as accounting, health sciences, and early childhood education.
ECEU’s graduation took place on May 24, 2019, at North Philadelphia’s new hub for Latino arts and culture: Teatro Esperanza. ECEU’s Associate Dean Gladys Ramirez-Wrease shared her pride in the newly minted Esperanza College graduates, saying, “to see these young men and young women overcome so many obstacles to reach this milestone, it brings joy and purpose to what we do here at the college.”
Across the city, Esperanza Academy honored students at its own graduation on May 30, 2019, at the Irvine Auditorium on University of Pennsylvania’s campus. Esperanza Cyber School also recognized its graduates during a ceremony on June 3, 2019. We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and their achievements!

Esperanza makes a difference in the lives of so many because of the dedication of our amazing partners. Esperanza has worked with UnidosUS as a member of the UnidosUS Affiliate network. Recently, UnidosUS invested in Esperanza’s Immigration Legal Services (EILS) and youth voter registration task force programs, through the UnidosUS Digital Innovation Program presented by Comcast.
