Esperanza’s Fiscal Year End:  THANK YOU!

Esperanza is so proud to have served the “least of these” in our Hispanic community for another exciting year! We’re so grateful for your continued support of our work.  This year we’re making a pledge to you and all of our supporters to keep as busy as ever, and continue helping those that need it the most with your help.

We couldn’t continue our work without YOU! We hope you’ll follow us in our journey to strengthen our Hispanic community by keeping in touch, attending our events, or considering making a gift to support Esperanza’s mission. Thank you and blessings for a wonderful summer ahead!

Esperanza is proud to have celebrated our 12th National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast and Conference!

Esperanza was thrilled to celebrate the 2018 National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast and Conference (NHPB), our 12th conference in more than 16 years of advocacy on behalf of the Hispanic community. Faith leaders gathered from nearly 30 states for three days of advocacy and prayer in order to represent their communities in our nation’s capital. The conference was held at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C. from June 12-14 and welcomed nearly 600 attendees!

We’re also proud that 28 sponsor groups supported our work for the conference. During the conference, Esperanza’s speakers included leaders from across the political spectrum, featuring Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Speaker Paul Ryan, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and Vice President Mike Pence.

Esperanza thanks all its attendees, speakers, artists, and partners for a successful NHPB! Feel free to view our photo gallery of the conference here!

Esperanza had a very busy spring & summer—and we’re looking forward to an even busier Fall of 2018! We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on in our community!

Esperanza plans to officially open the new Roberto Clemente Homes site in late September with 38 units of affordable rental housing and 5,000 square feet of new commercial space in Hunting Park. Roberto Clemente Homes will open its doors thanks to the support our outstanding partners, such as the City of Philadelphia – Division of Housing and Community Development, the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, M&T Bank, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, Philadelphia Housing Authority, the Philadelphia Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, PNC Bank, the Reinvestment Fund, and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. We hope you’ll come see what we’ve been working on!

Teatro Esperanza

We’re #EsperanzaProud to cut the ribbon on the “Teatro Esperanza” this Fall! Our professional performance theater will host musical, dance, and theater performances, events, and create a community center for the arts in North Philadelphia for all to enjoy. We can’t wait to see you there!
