The Esperanza Effect Newsletter: December 2018

#EsperanzaNews, Esperanza Effect Newsletter

Wish Rev. Luis Cortés Feliz Cumpleaños!

It’s our beloved Reverend Luis Cortés’ birthday—and it’s a birthday bash here at Esperanza! We think there’s no better way to honor the “Rev”, as we affectionately call him than to make a gift to Esperanza. Under his inspirational leadership, Esperanza has been working to transform the lives of Hunting Park residents and make a positive impact on Latino Philadelphia for more than 30 years.

Help us thank Rev. Luis Cortés for his servant-leadership!! Sign his birthday card here – and in his name, we hope you’ll give the gift of Esperanza by year’s end! Thank you!

Make your end of year tax-deductible gift now—Tenemos Esperanza!

We are at the end of a very exciting and full year! We are grateful for the support you have offered us as we continue to serve families in need in Hunting Park and across our region. We still need your support to finish 2018 strong– please make your year-end gift to celebrate this holiday season!

We’ve accomplished so much in 2018. We celebrated with over 500 faith and community leaders from across the political spectrum at the National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast and Conference. We convened more than 175 leaders and students in STEM fields at the 2018 Esperanza College Minorities in Health Sciences Symposium. And we have been busy planting trees in our neighborhood to build healthier blocks for all.

To put it mildly, we’ve been busy 😊. Each and every time you make a contribution, you’re giving a gift that makes a significant impact in our community: make your year-end gift now to close out 2018 and give the gift of hope to Hunting Park!
