Thank You for Coming Out to “Fiesta on 5th”

#EsperanzaNews, Esperanza in the News, Featured, Uncategorized

Thank you to community members who came out to the 2nd annual “Fiesta on 5th: A Celebration of Business and Community” this last Saturday to enjoy food, fun and entertainment.

With over 35 food, merchandise and information vendors and exceptional performances by Hector Rosado y su Orquesta Hache, Willie Torres and the Mambo 7 Orchestra, B.A.‐Star, Tremendos Dance Company, the AMLA Latin Jazz Orchestra, and the Esperanza Academy Dance Ensemble,  the event was a great success in strengthening the Hunting Park community as well as promoting its 5th Street business corridor.

Die-hard fans came out to enjoy our headline performance by salsa sensation, Frankie Negron, even under the rain!

A special thanks goes out to our partners Artistas y Músicos Latinoamericanos (AMLA) and the Hunting Park Business Association as well as our sponsors who made it all possible: Univision 65, La Mega 1310AM, Comcast, Gateway Health, LISC Philadelphia, Keystone First, the Phillies, and Councilwoman Maria Quiñones‐Sánchez.
