Sixty volunteers from a variety of organizations braved cold temperatures on Monday, Jan. 15 to participate in the annual Martin Luther King Day of Service through a community cleanup. Representatives and neighbors from Esperanza, Hunting Park United, The Lenfest Center, SERVEPhiladelphia, and other organizations collected fifty bags of trash throughout Hunting Park in order to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service.
