Introducing MyHuntingPark- A New Community Business Website

#EsperanzaNews, Esperanza in the News, Uncategorized

Esperanza Housing and Economic Development (EHED) and the Hunting Park Business Association (HPBA) are excited to announce the debut of MyHuntingPark.com, a new website that showcases the neighborhood’s business community.  The site, which was created with grant funds from Cancer Treatment Centers of America, strives to provide information, marketing, and engagement for local businesses.  The centerpiece of the new site is an online business directory, which offers a complete listing off all businesses on the neighborhood’s 5thStreet and Wyoming Avenue commercial corridors.  HPBA member businesses enjoy featured listings at the top of each category, dedicated webpages with information about their store, and professional photographs.  The online directory, which is updated frequently and easily viewable on a smartphone, is a convenient alternative to the biannual print directory for residents and visitors on the go.  A news and event page keeps businesses and the general public apprised of happenings on the commercial corridor.  Finally, a Real Estate page provides up-to-date listings of available properties and information on the local market, making it easy for entrepreneurs to understand the advantages of locating in Hunting Park and find space to open new businesses in the neighborhood.

“We’re excited to offer this valuable tool that will open up a lot of small businesses to a bigger audience and new potential customers,” commented Esperanza Economic Development Manager Phil Dawson.  “For some of our merchants who don’t use websites, Twitter, or Facebook, this is the first exposure their business has ever had on the Internet.”

We encourage you to visitwww.myhuntingpark.com to explore the site and discover the variety of businesses that our community has to offer!
