When the birthday cake you just picked up suddenly drops from the roof of your house just a couple of hours before your spouse’s surprise birthday party, there’s only thing you can do – google the nearest bakery with the best ratings and go pick up a new cake.
We all have many stories like this because no matter what we need or what we are thinking, there is one place where we all go to find answers: Google. Esperanza’s Housing and Economic Development program had the privilege to host a workshop in partnership with the Community College of Philadelphia, Power Up Your Business, to teach small business owners how to reach customers online and get found on google search and maps.
The workshop, which was held for the first time in Hunting Park, was taught both in English and Spanish. Attendees learned from Power Up Your Business experts how to optimize their google AdWords platform and SEO. They also learned step by step how to place their businesses on google maps and always come up on top when users are searching for the products and/or the services they offer.
