Esperanza Capacity Institute is Back, October 1 & 2

#EsperanzaNews, Esperanza in the News, Featured, Uncategorized

On October 1st and 2nd, the Esperanza Capacity Institute is back! Once again, we are holding back-to-back, intensive workshops proven to improve the ability of our community leaders to build stronger infrastructure for their churches, businesses, and organizations. This is where Esperanza’s mission to strengthen the Hispanic community truly shines.

At the heart of Esperanza’s National Ministries is the desire to serve as a resource to our faith-based network that will posture them for success. Historically, ECI began as an opportunity to bring together many of our grant affiliates engaged in the Hispanic Capacity Project. In the past few years, our focus of effort has moved from our affiliates to the network, local and national, at large. We bring in experts who can speak to the structure, efficacy and strengthening of organizational structures while also speaking to pertinent issues like Health, Immigration, and Energy.

Non-profit leaders, church leaders and anyone in the community who desires to attend any of our workshops on funding, governing, assessments, or fiscal accountability is invited to attend. In addition, we offer workshops that speak to unique ministry opportunities in the community such as Trauma and Youth, Developing Matrimonios de Esperanza, Developing a Business Plan, and much more.

In addition to the workshops, attendees are provided an opportunity to attend a series of plenary sessions where they get to meet Esperanza leadership and some of our key funders such as Walmart. This year, we will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Mujeres de Esperanza with a celebratory faith event on Thursday evening, and on Friday morning, we will partner with Palmer Seminary to offer an academic lecture on missions.
