Esperanza Capacity Institute is an amazing educational opportunity in which nonprofit, church and community leaders can learn from other professionals in their specialized fields. Experts offer workshops that help address organizational issues, administrative processes, finance, and marketing as well as improve leadership and effectiveness.

This year, ECI includes three special guest speakers:

Marcos Witt will be teaching a workshop on effective leadership.

Marcos WittMarcos Witt is an internationally known Christian singer, composer, speaker and author. He grew up in Mexico as a son of American missionaries. The five-time Latin Grammy award winner’s songs are sung at Spanish speaking churches by millions of people all over the world. He has recorded 32 albums and is also the author of 11 books. This year, he released the album “Sigues siendo Dios”, as well as the book, “Los 8 hábitos de los mejores líderes”. In 1987, he founded CanZion, the leading Spanish Christian record label and distribution platform in Latin America.

Isaac Cubero will be teaching a workshop on effectively using social media in the congregation.

Isaac Cubero

Isaac Cubero is a PR professional who has been part of Enlace Christian Television for over 9 years. His knowledge in the area of ​​Christian communication has been developed in countries such as Costa Rica, Venezuela and the United States. He is director of the TV evangelistic campaign “They have to know” and with the explosion of social media has led the social strategy of Enlace and Enlace Juvenil for 3 years.

 

Ed Rowse will be teaching a workshop on how to structure a short business plan.

Ed Rowse_edited-1Ed Rowse is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur. He worked for DuPont for 37 years in plastic product development, production, projects, recycling, and starting new businesses worldwide. Fourteen years ago, Ed founded Rowse Technologies, Inc. consulting in plastics, minerals, power plants, and more. He developed the “Business Training Institute” curriculum so that entrepreneurs in any culture will have a way to start up their own businesses using Christian principles, thereby being a witness to their own communities. This program has been taught seven times thus far, in five countries.

ECI is organized with 4 goals in mind:

  • Strengthening Nonprofit organizations
  • Strengthening Spanish Speaking Faith Leaders
