EYLI endeavors to ensure that the men and women of God who work with young people in our churches and communities are equipped with the theology, philosophy, knowledge, skills, and practical resources that they need to impact change in the lives of young people and maintain a long-term commitment to the work. A Pastor, whose Youth Pastor attended one of the EYLI’s training events recently stated that the evangelistic training “did more to equip my Youth Pastor during that workshop than I was able to provide him in a year.” It’s not because a local church can’t train their own youth leaders, the urban pastor is afforded very little time to do so.
