DESCRIPTION:The YPN Youth Summit is designed to empower students in predominantly Latino high schools with the opportunity to meet professionals of color in order to learn how to plan for a successful career. Colleges\, companies\, organizations\, and professionals throughout the region coach and teach hundreds of students professional skills they will need as they transition out of high school and into college. The event offers speakers\, workshops and a college/career fair.

SUMMARY:Esperanza's Mural Dedication and Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Esperanza will host a special celebration in partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia to dedicate the mural which has been installed on the west-facing wall of Esperanza Academy Charter High School. The mural was created by artist Patty Barrera and was completed with the help of several students from the Academy. \nYou are invited to join us on Wednesday\, May 10th for the dedication event\, which will include remarks by stakeholders and elected officials\, as well as performances by the Esperanza Academy Choir\, Dance Ensemble\, and String Orchestra. Please note that we will have limited seating.
