Resources for Churches
Educational Resource DevelopmentAnother focus of our work with our network is to develop and disseminate educational resources on a variety of other relevant topics. We develop educational resources that are specifically geared toward the Hispanic faith and nonprofit communities, to increase awareness about important issues within the Hispanic faith community. These resources may include textbooks, workbooks, instructor’s guides, videos, audio CDs, and more. We produce these resources in both English and Spanish, as appropriate. We have developed training resources for the Hispanic church on topics such as HIV/AIDS education, immigration, job readiness, financial literacy, gang violence and intervention, teen pregnancy and abstinence education, and healthy marriages/relationships. We disseminate these resources in a variety of ways. For example, we have facilitated training in churches and communities using these resources, and we have engaged in train-the-trainer models for some topics, to equip church members and nonprofit organizations to become trainers with our curricula. We have also conducted training, rallies, and assemblies in public schools, to reach young people with our educational materials. Visit our E-Store to browse our resources by category. |
