Esperanza College Psychology Adjunct
Job Title: Psychology Adjunct Position Description: Esperanza College of Eastern University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to instruct the following day and evening class:
Esperanza College offers a two-year liberal arts education culminating in an Associate in Arts degree with concentrations in Community and Human Services, Business, Accounting, Middle Level and Science Education, and Early Childhood Education. The Psychology class is offered to Community and Human Services students interested in careers in social work, case management, counseling, non-profit management, community development, and related fields. Our students are committed to advancing their lives through education. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Psychology and college level instructional experience in a multicultural setting. Ability to operate in concert with, the Mission and Doctrinal statements of the University is required. Esperanza College is a partnership between Esperanza and Eastern University. It is located in a primarily Latino community in eastern North Philadelphia, just south of US Route 1, the Roosevelt Boulevard. Compensation: $2,300 for 42 hours of instruction time and attendance at 3 faculty development workshops held in the evening. Day classes are held Monday or Wednesday; and evening classes are held Tuesday or Thursday.
