Coalition Building - The Power of Togetherness

This workshop will start with assessing each participant's preparedness for coalition building, and, in the case of existing coalitions, their level of sustainability. Based on this self-assessment exercise, we will then introduce main concepts contributing to understanding coalitions and their role in capacity building and community development.

Immigration Basics

This course will educate participants on the basics of immigration law, including how new regulations and policies will affect individuals in their communities.

Leading in Difficult Times (Parts 1 and 2)

This highly interactive and engaging session will focus on building high performance teams during difficult times.

Publisher

Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing program for personal or business use. With Publisher you can create print, web, and e-mail publications.

The Leadership Cafe

This course will present a dynamic, interactive tool for engaging staff, community or clients in a strategic dialogue and action planning.

Creating a Program Budget

The course will help to develop analytical skills in the preparation of a program budget.  A hands on approach to the budget process.

Designing Your Community Ministry

This session will lead you through the key steps to developing successful community outreach efforts.  Explore creative models for reaching the community and develop a program plan for a new ministry. 

Youth Mentoring

Participants will receive adequate guidelines for maneuvering within the mentoring relationship and necessary information and tools to be an effective mentor.

Foreclosure Counseling

This high-energy crash course in conducting results-oriented individual counseling sessions for prospective homebuyers provides a proven system for triaging customers, developing corrective action plans and timelines for success and facilitating progress as customers overcome obstacles and move toward mortgage readiness.  

Project Management

The course will help to improve your skills and knowledge to tackle the challenges of projects through its life cycle efficiently and effectively while preparing  you for the next level of professional development.
