Mujeres de Esperanza is a national ministry of Esperanza, initiated by Rev. Miriam Witt and Mrs. Damaris Cortés, which brings together women across generations in prayer, leadership and service.

Mujeres de Esperanza (MDE) was formed as the vehicle to mobilize the participation of Latina women in the nation with regards to social, educational and political issues by using the medium of faith and service as common ground. Mujeres de Esperanza gathers Latina women of all ages, in their respective cities across the nation. Using the mediums of regional training events, electronic communication and product development, Mujeres de Esperanza is expanding to reach women in all states of the nation to connect, educate, empower and affirm them to action in their communities and make resources accessible to women across the nation with regard to core areas of health, civic engagement, education and leadership.
