Esperanza's 2010 Report

Esperanza’s 2010 report, “Achieving Excellence” details the impact of Esperanza’s top quality services during the last two challenging economic years in our nation. Among many accomplishments during this time, Esperanza was and is a top provider of educational services in North Philadelphia for Hispanic high school and adult students, and the #1 performing workforce provider among eight specific centers in the city of Philadelphia, and served over 25,000 individuals throughout the nation. Esperanza celebrated a decade of strong achievements at Esperanza College and Esperanza Academy Charter High School, and expanded its reach nationally to address critical needs: the need for immigration legal services and policy reform, and the need for trustworthy, bilingual housing counseling.

For Esperanza, excellence is continually raising the bar and seeing lives transformed through quality services.

High standards, a commitment to vision, multiplying impact, engaging leadership, careful financial stewardship and our donors- the Givers of Hope- make excellence possible. We hope that you enjoy the stories of individuals and organizations who have benefitted from your support.

Esperanza Academy and Esperanza College each celebrated 10 years of successfully changing lives, and are quickly becoming models for education that works in the Hispanic community. In 2010 the producers of Waiting for Superman made a film about our own work. Click here to watch the film.
