Bilingual Educational Workshops
Esperanza provides "Know Your Rights" trainings in English and Spanish to educate pastors and community members on immigrant rights and immigration law matters. Trainings are scheduled on a monthly basis at churches and community centers in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. Topics include how to obtain public benefits, what to expect in the event of an immigration raid, how to obtain legal status in the United States, and how to sponsor family members and help them get green cards. See below for a full listing of topics. To schedule an event in your community, please contact Mary Clark at mclark@esperanza.us or 215-324-0746
