Immigration Legal Services - Philadelphia
Our Goal
Esperanza Immigration Legal Services was created in response to the growing number of immigrants moving to the Philadelphia area and the increasing demand in the immigrant community for information and legal assistance. Our goal is to help further Esperanza’s mission of serving and advocating for “the least of these,” by providing community education, advocacy, and direct legal services to immigrants and their families, so that they may participate in and benefit fully from American society.
Legal Services
Beginning in December 2009, Esperanza will provide direct legal services to low-income U.S. citizen and foreign-born individuals and their families needing assistance with immigration matters. Services will include:
- Family reunification
- Green card applications
- Citizenship and naturalization
- Assistance for victims of domestic violence
- Assistance for victims of human trafficking
- Visas for crime victims
- Renewal of employment authorization
Esperanza also offers workshops on immigrant rights and immigration law matters. For more information about our community education program, click here.
