Esperanza EARN Center
Helping Men and Women Overcome Barriers to Employment
EARN is an acronym for Employment Advancement and Retention Network, a center that helps transition individuals into full-time employment.
The Esperanza EARN Center, which serves an estimated 1,500 clients annually, is located on Esperanza’s campus. The center offers professional and personal training—as well as job placement services—using a “wrap-around,” holistic approach. This approach goes beyond work-related skill building and personal development by interweaving resources that job candidates use to minimize and manage barriers to long-term employment.
For individuals trying to increase their marketability as a desirable job candidate, there are times when technical training and skill development are just not enough: personal issues can prevent even the best job candidates from getting a good job. In addition to helping individuals improve their value as employees, our EARN Center counselors provide access to resources that help these men and women balance the family and work demands that all too often seem to be insurmountable hurdles. That balance opens the door to premium job opportunities with premium employers partnered with Esperanza’s EARN Center.
