Job Title: Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Staff
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks. Works independently with little or no supervision. Organizes and maintains details of information and processes efficiently and effectively. Must be able to flexibly and cheerfully manage the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs. This position interacts with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment—sometimes under pressure. Is proactive, resourceful and efficient; also, has interpersonal skills and project coordination experience. Professionalism and confidentiality are critical to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Required:
1. Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings.
2. Strong computer and internet research skills.
3. Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
4. Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management.
5. Administrative writing skills.
6. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication.
7. Reporting Skills.
8. Conversant in Spanish and familiarity with written Spanish.
Strongly Preferred:
1. 5+ years experience supporting at the executive level.
2. Bachelor’s degree.
3. Bilingual.
4. Knowledge of Hispanic faith community.
5. Driving license and access to a vehicle.
