Mujeres de Esperanza

Activating the Faith of Women through Intercession and Service

Mujeres de Esperanza, a national woman’s ministry of Esperanza, initiated by Miriam Witt and Damaris Cortés, brings together women of multiple generations in prayer and service, in order to transform our nation through their active role in leadership. In unison they engage their faith and fill God’s throne with worship, praises, thanksgiving, and petitions.

Mission
To call Hispanic women across generations to pray, train, and act, to better their communities and influence positive changes in our nation.

A Common Goal and Direction
With a common goal and direction, Mujeres de Esperanza strives to foster and form innovative thinking amongst diverse groups of women who serve families, friends, and communities with their time, gifting, abilities, and love.

Recognizing that women make a significant difference in the lives of many people, Mujeres de Esperanza seeks to develop ways to honor women who have made enduring past and present contributions to their communities, to create communities of support, and to provide women of all ages with service opportunities that will continue to develop their leadership potential and skills.

United in prayer and service, Mujeres de Esperanza pledges to spark a transformation in our nation, one community at a time.

Lord, we ask that You fill the leaders in the family, the community, spiritual leadership, education, health, business, mass media, the arts, politics, and current events with love, integrity, perseverance, excellence, spirit of service, and unity. Amen.

As a Mujer de Esperanza you will

  • become a part of our collective voice in supplication in favor of our families and communities;
  • learn how to pray deliberately focused on a particular issue and as instructed biblically;
  • receive information about available resources for healthy marriages, and for dealing with family and financial crisis;
  • obtain valuable information regarding materials that address important women’s issues; and
  • receive the Mujeres de Esperanza monthly bulletin, which includes the prayer of the month and inspirational testaments and stories from women across the nation.
