Partnerships Drive Transformation in Hunting Park

In Hunting Park, our community members work hard to make their community a better place. One of these community members is Elsa Roig who owns a salon on North 5th Street e explains that the kind of transformation that’s happening in Hunting Park wouldn’t be possible without the partnerships formed between community organizations dedicated to giving back.

“The community garden helps to change the area in many aspects. it has helped us to beautify the area and has fostered a larger connection among the neighbors. All of this has been possible through the financial support that Wells Fargo and Esperanza have provided. Financially, we wouldn’t have been able to do this on our own, Our neighbors would not have been able to do it.”

The 5th Street community garden is a source of pride for all who live and work nearby and especially for those who have worked hard to cultivate the flora and fauna. Esperanza’s Housing and Economic Development department has been essential in fostering relationships with our corporate sponsors to get the financial support our community members need to continue to make Hunting Park a beautiful place to live. Wells Fargo has been a tremendous help in this endeavor, and we thank them.
