The New York Times, Feb. 22. 2017. Immigrants Hide, Fearing Capture On “Any Corner” talks about the fear of deportation of many Latinos based on new policies that call for speedier deportations and the hiring of 10,000 ICE agents.

Executive Director of Esperanza’s Immigration Legal Services (EILS), Mary Clark, spoke about the concerns she has heard from clients who do not know where to turn. According to Clark, many inquires are related to one of their most pressing fears, having their kids taken away from them and put into the foster care system.
