Answering the Call to Ministry As One Body: Save the Date!

#EsperanzaNews, Esperanza in the News, Featured, Uncategorized

Save the date for Esperanza’s National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast and Conference (NHPBC) in Washington, D.C. on June 16-18, 2015.

Join the Hispanic faith community as we “Answer the Call as One Body.” Although we come from different backgrounds and our roots are planted all over the country, we can come together to answer God’s call to ministry and strengthen one another to produce a greater impact for our congregations. Each person in our diverse community has a unique set of gifts and talents, and we need them all to be as effective as we can be.

Bring your gifts and your calling to Washington, D.C. in 2015, to join with your brothers and sisters of faith.

The NHPBC is Esperanza’s premier national event that brings together hundreds of Hispanic clergy and faith leaders to Washington D.C. for workshops, prayer, advocacy, and worship. During this time, we host distinguished guest speakers and musical artists, and our clergy leaders offer prayers on behalf of our nation, communities, and families.

Attendees have the opportunity to learn from experts and each other on various issues of importance to the Hispanic community; visit elected officials on Capitol Hill to discuss these issues; and connect with our political and corporate partners. The conference culminates on the morning of the third day with the signature Prayer Breakfast, which has historically featured the President of the United States as the keynote speaker.  This year we will once again invite President Barack Obama to join us along with members of his Cabinet, Congress, and other distinguished guests.
